a couple of weeks ago my cousin contacted me from my hometown of louisville, ga. she was (and is) in charge of getting all the brochures, t-shirts, and miscellaneous shwag together for the annual ‘buzzard blast’ community shindig, and wanted to get a cool logo done for the event instead of what they had been using.
more often than not i have trouble saying ‘no’ to people when they ask me to help them and this was no different. (plus this is my blood and my hometown so it already had a sweet little place nestled into my heart) i haven’t really had any opportunities to do anything for my ‘old’ community and i thought this would be a nice way to start. so here it is, the buzzard blast logo. kind of cool and modern, yet playful and family oriented, like the festival (i think …. i’ve never actually been to the festival)
